HAIRCUTS FOR HEROES EVENT PROVIDES FREE HAIRCUTS FOR VETERANS, FIRST RESPONDERS, AND ACTIVE-DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS
Endeavors Health & Wellness Center hosts 9/11 Event with Free Haircuts and Wellness Resources for El Paso's Military and First Responder Community
El Paso, Texas, Sept. 01, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On September 11, Endeavors will honor veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders through its third “Haircuts for Heroes” event, providing free haircuts, refreshments, and access to community resources at the Endeavors Health & Wellness Center. The event reflects Endeavors' ongoing commitment to supporting those who serve and protect the El Paso community.
“Haircuts for Heroes” takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and haircuts will be given by the Milan Institute of Cosmetology on a first-come, first-served basis; no appointment is required. Eligible participants should bring a valid form of verification, such as a work badge, state ID, DD214, DoD ID, or any other identification confirming their status. “At the Endeavors Health & Wellness Center, our mission is to support the people who dedicate their lives to serving others,” said Nataly Antillon, General Manager, Endeavors

Following Haircuts for Heroes, Endeavors will continue its fall programming with a career fair on September 18 and in November will commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Health & Wellness Center in El Paso. The career fair will be held at the Endeavors Health & Wellness Center on September 18 as an opportunity for veterans and active-duty service members to connect with 20-30 employers and educators across multiple career fields. The event will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Job seekers are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resume, registration is not required. On-spot interviews and job offers will not be available.
In November, Endeavors Health & Wellness Center will celebrate one year of serving the El Paso community. The Health & Wellness Center provides services and resources to veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, and their families. With adaptive gym equipment in the state-of-the-art fitness center and onsite mental health counseling, the Endeavors team helps meet the direct and long-term needs of this population.
The Health & Wellness Center also offers personal training, and wellness rooms open to anyone, allowing for healthy lifestyle choices to be accessible to the entire El Paso community. The community spaces, from executive boardrooms to outdoor recreational areas, are regularly available for booking events and gatherings.
Endeavors also operates the El Paso Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic, providing confidential mental health care for veterans, active-duty service members, and their families.
The Endeavors Health & Wellness Center is open Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Cohen Clinic is open until 8 p.m. on Wednesdays. Visit both offices at 12135 Pebble Hills Blvd., 79936.
